Sea Valor's COVID-19 Protocols
At Sea Valor, we take the safety of our guests very seriously and we are doing everything we can to follow the guidelines of both the CDC and OSHA.
Pre-boarding
Before each trip, we wipe down all communal surfaces of the boats with EPA-registered disinfectants. Our crew have been briefed on COVID-19 symptoms, and have been instructed not to join us if they or anyone in their social bubble has experienced any symptoms. Additionally, each crew member and guest will have their temperature taken with a no-contact thermometer prior to boarding the vessel.
Social-distancing
We ask that our guests make every attempt to remain at least 6 feet away from other guests with whom they have not already been in close contact with. To help with this, we have marked out spots around the boats with green stickers. Each one of these stickers is a minimum of 6 feet away from another sticker, and can serve as a reference mark. We ask that guests spend the majority of their time above decks and only go down below to use the restroom (head) or kitchen (galley).
Group size
Out of an abundance of caution, we are limiting our group sizes to 25% of normal capacity.
Masks
All of our crew wear masks, and we ask that every guest do the same (as required by Alameda County Health Department).
Hand Washing
Our crew washes their hands frequently with disinfectant soap. We have hand sanitizer located in convenient positions around the boats, and ask that guests use these as frequently as possible.
Spray Disinfectant
We have cans of disinfectant in the restroom (head) and ask that guests spray the faucet and door handles after they are finished using the restroom.
We want you to have a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and taking these precautions will help ensure everyone's safety.
